For rich, creamy refried beans, blend canned pinto beans in a food processor. Unlike dried beans, canned ones don’t require soaking or cooking, and the tool speeds the process up.

Creamy refried beans are made by frying and mashing cooked beans into a thick and creamy consistency. Canned pinto beans, being tender and buttery, are the ideal for the recipe.
Finely chopped and cooked onion and garlic in a pan
To start, heat oil on the stove and cook diced onion, garlic, and other flavoring ingredients you like. Then, add in drained and rinsed beans and ¼ cup water for each can of beans.

Season it all as desired, cover, and cook for 5 minutes. Lastly, instead of mashing the mixture by hand, pulse it in your food processor until it reaches
your desired consistency.
