The Simple Method To Save Money On Costco Steaks

NEWS

Costco is known for saving people money by selling items in bulk. This principle also applies to their beef, with buying entire roast saving customers more in the long run.
A roast is a much larger cut, and it's common for prices to be hundreds of dollars, depending on the quality. However, the per-pound price is cheaper than the individual steaks.
A Kirkland Signature roast can often be four to six dollars cheaper per pound than Kirkland Signature steaks, which adds up when purchasing heavy slabs.
You can cut the steak into sizes you want with a sizable roast. Cutting a roast into 1 to 1.5-inch pieces will likely produce around 15 steaks, which you freeze for later use.
The individual steaks at Costco may also have additional preparations, such as the sirloin filets with applewood smoked bacon. These options will cost more than the basic steaks.
