The Restaurant Menu Red Flag To Look Out For

NEWS

By MATTHEW LEE
Some restaurants have a menu list like a mini dictionary, but if you ever find yourself in a restaurant with a giant menu, it's best to pack up and leave.
If you look at the menus of Michelin-starred, fine-dining restaurants, you'll notice that most are concise and simple, indicating the staff are well-taught in making such meals.
In contrast, if a restaurant advertises itself as French but features a section for Chinese fare halfway through the menu, it’s a red flag.
It's worth noting that long menus aren't always bad. Certain places, like dim sum restaurants, have diverse menus due to the sheer variety of dishes they offer.
