Roasting chickpeas, also known as garbanzo beans, can turn the little legumes into bite-size snacks that not only deliver a whole lot of flavor but also a satisfying crunch.
Whether you're using dried beans that have soaked overnight or canned ones, start by rinsing and drying them. Then, coat them with oil and your desired seasonings, including salt.
Next, spread them evenly on a parchment-lined baking pan. Roasting them for 30–35 minutes at 400° F should suffice, but you can cook them until they reach your desired crunchiness.
