The Popular High-Protein Greek Yogurt That's Not Worth Your Money

Greek yogurt, the thick, tangy, protein-packed dairy product, has become the norm for many shoppers — but Chowhound found that one popular yogurt isn’t worth the money.
The Greek Gods Probiotic Honey Greek Yogurt contains just 7 grams of protein in 170 grams of yogurt, plus 23 grams of sugar, which is hardly different from non-Greek yogurt.
If a more nutritious Greek yogurt is your goal, other brands will better serve you. However, it can be good for those who don't like the classic tangy taste of Greek yogurt.
This item makes a poor swap for sour cream or buttermilk but can be well suited for smoothies, sauces, and dips where a little sweetness is welcome.
