Whether your juice contains natural or added sugar, the saccharine flavor can sometimes overwhelm the taste buds, especially if it's accompanied by an almost syrupy thickness.

To fix overly sweet juice without watering it down or causing it to lose flavor, add some apple cider vinegar, which is basically an acidic liquid made by fermenting apple juice.

Even ⅛ teaspoon of the liquid can tone down the sweetness, so start with the smallest of splashes. Stir the drink after adding the vinegar, taste it, and make tweaks as needed.

The added acidity will lend the juice a subtle sourness, balancing out the extra sweetness, without the somewhat funky scent and taste of the vinegar affecting the juice’s flavor.
