Giada De Laurentiis has said that her dream "last supper" dish is a cookie sold at NYC's famous Levain Bakery, which opened its first of many locations on West 74th Street in 1995.
The cookies come in four flavors and measure one inch high and four inches across, weighing six ounces each. Giada's cookie of choice is the decadent dark chocolate chocolate chip.
Giada gets her treats from Levain's OG location. Her website, Giadzy, notes, "This tiny … bakery … is easy to miss, but … it's worth it for the giant, dark chocolate chip cookies.”
The cookies consist of extra dark French cocoa-laced cookie dough and semi-sweet chocolate chips. They are dense, chewy cookies studded with pockets of gooey, chocolatey goodness.
