New York's subway stations hardly feel like a place for esteemed meals, but two restaurants here have surprisingly earned Michelin recognition: See No Evil Pizza and Nōksu.

Nōksu, which competes in the fine dining category, was added to the Michelin Guide in 2023. Meanwhile, See No Evil Pizza followed in 2024, serving as a more casual affair.

Recognized by Michelin for its inimitability, you can access See No Evil Pizza through the station entrance and down a staircase on the south of 50th Street just west of Broadway.

The eatery offers margherita, pepperoni, and some novel pies, each priced at $28 or less. The space is the platonic ideal of a pizzeria, with checkered floors and red banquettes.
