The Luxury Baked Potato Topping Martha Stewart Loves

While it’s no secret that Martha Stewart loves luxury and decadence, the celebrity chef really took things up a notch while prepping some baked potatoes for a Mother’s Day lunch.
In the Instagram post, Stewart was seen dressing a spread of five baked potatoes with butter, sour cream, and a heaping spoonful of Black Diamond Golden Osetra Caviar.
Caviar, even the least expensive kinds, still cost a pretty penny. American white sturgeon roe, for example, will set you back about $80 an ounce, according to MarthaStewart.com.
The golden osetra caviar Stewart used to top her baked potatoes is priced at $125 an ounce. As far as taste is concerned, many describe caviar as having a slightly nutty flavor.
However, there can be other flavor notes, too, such as sweet, buttery, or creamy. Most fish roe also tastes of the seas; that is, it's a flavor of fish and brine.
