While lobster rolls are delicious, they're also quite expensive. Luckily, there might be a cheaper option for those craving a lobster roll at your local Trader Joe's store.
This inexpensive lobster work around doesn't actually involve lobster, but uses Trader Joe's Wild Uncooked Argentinian Red Shrimp for a similar flavor.
The shrimp costs $11.99 per pound, making it about one-fifth as expensive as lobster. Argentinian red shrimp has a much sweeter, more buttery flavor akin to lobster.
Simply poach the shrimp in a pan
with butter, season it to taste, and sandwich it between brioche buns. You can then add butter, lemon, mayo, or whatever toppings you desire.
