Pork chops on black cutting board

The Juiciest Baked Pork Chops Are Just One Extra Step Away

Pork chops are a lean cut of meat that often turn out dry and leathery. Fortunately, there's an easy way to make the juiciest chops possible: brine them.
For a basic brine, you need only two ingredients: salt and water. Boil 1 cup of water with 3 tablespoons of kosher salt (omit ½ tablespoon
if using standard table salt).
From there, add another 2 cups of cold water, then pour it over your chops in a bowl or container. Refrigerate the meat for about
30 minutes to four hours.
Then, take your pork out of the liquid, dry it a bit, and cook them the way you typically would. This method is ideal for seared and baked chops, though you can grill them as well.
