The Grocery Store Red Flag Having To Do With The Refrigerated Cases

While most likely assume that getting food from the refrigerated section at a grocery store will be safe, there are some signs that the products aren't fresh, such as condensation.
If you see cold products in the refrigerated section that have condensation, it could be a sign that they have not been kept at the proper temperature.
Perishable foods should not be kept above 40 degrees Fahrenheit for more than two hours, and the proper refrigerator is between 35 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
Issues like broken doors or faulty refrigeration systems can expose the food to higher temperatures for an unsafe period, resulting in bacteria growth and foodborne illness.
Frozen foods also have a temperature threshold and should be stored below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. If any of those food products are wet, it's best to avoid them.
