Tequila Orendain Blanco

Vallarta Tequila Tastings owner Corinna Levine Dahlin says that for classic margaritas, "It's all about the blancos because you want that agave freshness."
One of her top recommendations is Tequila Orendain Blanco, a bright agave-forward blanco with notes of citrus, herbs, and pepper. The flavors meld beautifully with tart lime juice.

Cazcanes Blanco

This is a luscious, full-bodied tequila with great minerality and bold notes of agave and citrus. It rounds out the acidity of lime juice and has a soft mouthfeel.

Cascahuín Blanco

Dahlin also loves this blanco, which offers fresh flavors of cooked agave and notes of grass, citrus, and pepper. In a margarita, it produces a clean-tasting drink.

Curamia Blanco

This pure, clean-tasting tequila is made with 100% agave and no added sugars. It’s crisp and herbaceous with hints of peach and lime and no harsh aftertaste.

Lalo Tequila

As Dahlin said, "Cocktail makers are very into Lalo." The company makes tequila with just three ingredients: agave, deep well water, and champagne yeast.
The tequila is bright and sippable with notes of citrus, earth, vegetation, cinnamon, and agave. It's great for classic margaritas or lighter concoctions like a ranch water.
