In our ranking of nine jarred Alfredo sauces, Walmart's private brand, bettergoods, took the top spot thanks to its creamy texture, which was neither too thick nor too thin.
The key flavor note of the sauce came from the Parmesan cheese, setting it apart from brands that were oversalted. The addition of garlic made it more complex and interesting.
Plus, a 14.5-ounce jar of bettergoods' Alfredo sauce costs just under $6.50, another factor that put it on the higher end of the sauces included in our ranking.
