Sunny Side Up Eggs Are One Easy Microwave Shortcut Away

NEWS

By ALLIE WARD
Cooking sunny side up eggs perfectly on the stove can be tricky, but a simple microwave method makes it easy. All you need is a microwave-safe plate, butter or oil, and an egg.
Preheat the plate in the microwave for two minutes and once the plate is hot, drop a pat of butter to cover the plate, then crack an egg on it and be sure to pop the yolk.
Then, microwave it for 45 seconds, adding an additional 15 seconds as needed. This hack saves you minutes as opposed to cooking an egg on the stovetop.
