Ree Drummond's Favorite Cinnamon Toast Avoids The Toaster

Ree Drummond doesn't approve of making cinnamon toast in a toaster, as it hinders the flavor and texture of the bread. Instead, cook it in the oven.
She begins by mixing cinnamon and sugar directly into some softened butter until it creates a uniform paste. Then, she adds a splash of vanilla extract.
She spreads the paste on the bread and bakes it for 10 minutes at 350 degrees F, then switches to the oven's broiler setting for a few seconds to allow it to caramelize.
