14. Hillshire Farm

Hillshire Farms sausage is widely available and costs just $3.98 for a 14-ounce package at Walmart, but it fails to deliver on taste and quality.
With its soft yet snappy skin, this sausage's texture is somewhat acceptable, but the flavor is overwhelmed by sodium. This makes eating it more than a
few bites a difficult task.

13. Amylu

At $8.99 for 9 ounces of sausage, Amylu is easily one of the most expensive brands. It comes in over 10 flavors and uses chickens raised without antibiotics or hormones.
It has a bold flavor with seasoning overpowering other ingredients. Its Roasted Garlic & Asiago Chicken variety contains unnatural tasting Asiago with an artificial aftertaste.

12. Sprouts

Sausages from Sprouts are highly priced at $6.49 for a 12-ounce pack, as they offer healthy, minimally-processed meat products. They
also come in a range of flavors.
Its Caramelized Sweet Onion Chicken Sausage variety is chewy but not too firm and looks pale due to the use
of chicken. You can also taste an overpowering sulphur-like quality.

11. Kiolbassa

Priced highly at $7.79 for a 12-ounce pack, Kiolbassa has an inviting bronzed, crispy appearance. It delivers a well-balanced flavor and savory garlic aroma.
However, it slightly disappoints in terms of texture. It has a tough casing and is overly bouncy, though there will be some people that specially love that chewy firmness.

10. Eckrich

Eckrich is a widely available and economical brand that is slightly limited in terms of flavor options. Its Polska kielbasa variety cost just $3.46 for 14 ounces.
It crisps up nicely in the oven without leaking much fatty liquid, delivering a classic flavor of mildly sweet
smoked sausage. It has a soft texture expected of a skinless sausage.
