Peanut Butter Brands That Are Worth Your Money And Ones That Aren't

Avoid: Jif

At $3.29, Jif’s peanut butter is cheaper than brands like Skippy. It’s good in terms of creaminess and spreadability, but the flavor isn’t great enough for eating plain.
Like Skippy, Jif has earned a 4.8/5 in Amazon reviews, but the rating could be a little biased since most people who leave reviews do so if they have a positive experience.

Buy: Skippy

At $3.99, Skippy is great in terms of taste, spreadability, and standalone capacity, blending well with jams. The con is, like Jif, it contains vegetable oil and sugar.

Avoid: Santa Cruz

Sold for $8.99, Santa Cruz is quite pricey, and it boasts a weird, unpalatable mix of no sweetness and palm oil. Obviously, it’s not good for eating alone either.

Buy: Adams

Like Santa Cruz, Adams No-Stir also boasts the combination of palm oil and no added sweeteners but is still creamy. At $5.49, it’s quite a steal for a sugar-free option.

Avoid: Essential Everyday

At $1.99, this one is cheap and highly spreadable but tastes terrible. Skip it unless you're making cookies for an undiscerning crowd or using it with jam.
