Turkey burgers don’t have as much fat as other proteins, so while healthier, they may lack flavor. Other ingredients can give them the boost they need.
Use mayonnaise for added juiciness and savory flavor. Mayo contains eggs, oil, and acids — all ingredients that will enhance turkey burgers without adding excess fat.
Simply scoop some mayonnaise into the bowl with the rest of your turkey burger ingredients. Recipes vary, but adding a spoonful or two is a good rule of thumb.
Once the mixture is to your desired consistency, cook them as normal. Light or regular mayonnaise will work here, it all depends on how much excess fat you want to add.
