Make Canned Sardines Super Snackable With Your Air Fryer

With an air fryer, you can achieve crispy, delicious sardines in 10 minutes or less. Depending on how hot your air fryer runs, set the temperature between 300 and 400 degrees F.
Although you could add your sardines directly into the air fryer, coating them in flour or panko bread crumbs will create a crunchier crust. You can also add extra seasonings.
One approach is to keep it simple with salt and pepper, but you can also add paprika, garlic powder, turmeric, cayenne, and chili powder for a smoky, slightly spicier flavor.
Sardines are tasty on their own, but they're also great on toast with olive oil. You can play around with adding tomato, onion, and other fresh veggies for a satisfying snack.
