To make the crispiest, crunchiest, juiciest bacon strips around, simply sprinkle some flour on top before baking. This will both seal in the juices and soak them up.

In addition to making the cleanup process easier, this trick also puts the kibosh on shrinkage, which means you'll have less curly and more full-bodied bacon.

After sprinkling flour on your raw bacon strips, pop them in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Once removed from the oven, dab the slices with a paper towel.

Alternatively, immerse the strips in a bowl of flour to ensure full coverage. Shake off any extra flour clumps before baking them as normal, flipping halfway through.
