Milk Frothers
Milk frothers are small battery-powered whisks that aerate milk. However, their high rotational speed also makes them perfect for making silky-smooth salad dressing.
Simply place your dressing ingredients in a cup or beaker and submerge the frother into the mixture. Blitz for around 40 seconds or until the dressing develops a uniform texture.
When making sauces, like hollandaise, the goal is to create a smooth emulsion, in this case from egg yolk, lemon juice, and butter. Use a stick blender to combine them.
A stick blender can replace a whisk in many recipes and can help remove unwanted lumps from sauces, create smoothies, whip cream, make custard, and even mayonnaise.
A coffee grinder — particularly of the bladed variety — can be used to grind spices, make popcorn salt, breadcrumbs, gluten-free flour, powdered sugar, and much more.
You can use your air fryer to make delicious French toast. Instead of reaching for a skillet, place your dipped bread slices in a parchment-lined air fryer set to 350 F.
Cook for around four minutes before flipping them and giving them another couple of minutes. You can also use your air fryer for toasting nuts and spices, or roasting garlic.
A food processor can sometimes be inconvenient and overmix your mixtures, especially when you’re making a dish like hummus. Try using a potato ricer instead.
A potato ricer is designed to make mash, but the ricer also acts as a strainer, so it’s possible to make a respectable hummus. Simply add a tin of chickpeas and other ingredients.
