Simply place a piece of bread at the base. Rather than letting oils and liquids leak onto the base of the air fryer, the bread underneath the basket will absorb some of those spills.

Ensure the bread is thin so there’s enough room between it and the air fryer basket for air circulation. Discard the bread after cooking for a mess-free meal.
