Japan's Whipped Cream Sandwich Is Almost Too Easy To Make
NEWS

Japan's whipped cream sandwich consists of thick slices of soft and sweet Japanese milk bread (known as shokupan) stuffed with pure white whipped cream and a little condensed milk.
Using whipped cream as a sandwich filling on its own is a new concept that already has people swooning, with the treat popping up at stores like Lawson and 7-Eleven in Japan.
The treat is easy to make even if you don't have shokupan. To start, take thick slices of any soft white bread and remove the crusts for a cleaner look and a more cohesive texture.
Spread a little condensed milk on each slice and pipe a thick layer of whipped cream over the top. Lastly, wrap the sandwich in cling film to avoid a mess and slice it diagonally.
