A highly publicized lawsuit that challenged the contents of Taco Bell's seasoned beef brought the restaurant under legal scrutiny, causing many customers to speculate.

Per NPR's All Things Considered, a law firm claimed to run tests and found that 65% of the beef was made up of "soybeans and wheat and oats, non-meat products."

The case was dismissed and the allegations about Taco Bell's seasoned beef have largely been proven false — the beef is real. However, it still doesn't hurt to take a deeper look.
