The 3-2-1 method for cooking ribs is great for beginners. Let your ribs smoke for three hours, wrap them in foil for two hours, add your sauce, and then smoke for one more hour.
Set your gas grill for two-zone cooking by turning your two right burners to low heat. After applying your dry rub, add your ribs to the left side of the grill.
Ensure the temperature on the grill remains at 225F, cook the meat for three hours, and leave the lid closed to keep the grill warm. After, take the ribs and wrap them in foil.
Place them back on the grill with the meat side down for an additional two hours to get the meat extra tender. Lastly, remove the ribs from the wrapped foil package.
