How To Upgrade Baked Beans Using Root Beer

A simple can of baked beans can be easily enhanced with a splash of root beer. The soda complements the baked beans’ smoky sweetness with its sweet and spicy flavors.
Start by adding a few tablespoons at a time to the pot while it's simmering. Adding too much will leave them too watery and adding too little will make it undetectable.
If you add too much, simmer
the beans longer until the liquid evaporates. Ensure you use regular root beer instead of diet, as the latter doesn’t contain
the same syrupy effects.
