How To Fry Bologna So It's Crispy But Never Curly

Fried bologna is a humble but undeniably delicious treat. However, improperly prepared slices will fry unevenly, causing them to curl and leading to a bad final result.
To prevent this, simply slice your lunch meat. You can either carve out a small "x" on the center of your slice or cut small slits on two to four sides of your bologna.
This will allow for more airflow, ensuring the crispiest possible result. The "x" method enables a flat, even cook, while the slit method ensures crispy edges.
