Stainless steel pans can be challenging to clean, but as long as you have dish soap and vinegar, you can bring these pans back to life even with stuck-on stains.
To remove harsh food stains, add a little dish soap and warm water to the pan and heat it over the stove to a simmer. Then, use a scraping tool to scrape the stains off.
From there, let the pan cool and wash it as usual with soapy water to finish the process. Then, add a little vinegar to a pan and wipe it with a sponge to remove discoloration.
If you notice water stains on your pan, add a mixture of one part vinegar to three parts water to the pan, bring it to a boil, then dump it and scrub the pan with soap and water.
