How Long Should Tofu Be Marinated For?

Marinating a tofu can elevate it from mundane to mouthwatering, and to ensure maximum flavor infusion, a good rule of thumb is to marinate it for at least two hours in the fridge.
However, longer marination time leads to more intense flavors, so marinating your tofu overnight or for up to 48 hours in the fridge will yield deep robust flavors.
Freezing marinated tofu yields a meat-like texture, as freezing creates tiny ice crystals that in turn create minute pockets in the tofu, allowing the marinade to infuse deeper.
