How Long Does It Take For An Open Pack Of Hot Dogs To Go Bad?

Ideally, an opened package of hot dogs can last for up to a week in the refrigerator, whereas an unopened package of hot dogs can last for two weeks if refrigerated.
This is only if your hot dogs are properly stored at a temperature of or below 40 degrees Fahrenheit and are not left out above that temperature for extended periods.
If your hot dogs have already been cooked, they should only be kept in the refrigerator for three to four days. Store them in a sealed ziplock bag, with the air pressed out.
This will help keep their texture intact. For extended shelf life, freeze your hot dogs for up to two months, noting the freeze date and original expiration to avoid freezer burns.
