When John Lennon wasn't rocking out on stage or authoring books, he was adhering to a unique diet. However, his last meal turned out to be a simple corned beef sandwich.
Per James L. Dickerson's 1999 novel "Last Suppers: If the World Ended Tomorrow, What Would Be Your Last Meal?", Lennon washed down the sandwich with a cup of hot tea at a deli.
It's believed that Lennon was what would now be considered a "flexitarian" or a "semi-vegetarian," which makes it a bit tough to swallow that his final meal was a beef sandwich.
