There are many ways to cook cabbage, but one very simple way to create a side dish that will have your dinner guests asking for more is using an air fryer.
The green or red varieties are used most frequently for air fryer cabbage. Air frying brings out the cabbage’s natural sweetness while adding a golden-brown crispness to the edges.
Before placing it in the air fryer, remove the outer leaves and cut the cabbage into smaller wedges or chunks, then chop those into even smaller pieces.
Use less oil to ensure that the cabbage does not become greasy. Olive oil is a good option for lightly coating the cabbage pieces to ensure they become crispy.
Salt and pepper are standard for seasoning, but many other spices and flavors work too. Once cooked, finish the cabbage with lemon juice, balsamic glaze, or parmesan cheese.
