Grill Irresistibly Good Cod Using A Foil Packet Method

Grilling is one of the best ways to prepare cod, but for a truly show-stopping meal, you should be wrapping the filet in a foil packet before throwing it on the grill.
A delicate fish, cod cooks fast and can easily dry up and toughen. A foil packet, however, serves as a chamber that traps moisture so it is cooked gently and evenly.
The wrapping also makes handling the fish easier and more efficient, keeping it intact when flipping. Another benefit is the reduced cleanup afterward.
Preheat your grill to medium or medium-high heat and cut a piece of tin foil large enough to wrap the fish with all the other ingredients and still have some left for sealing.
Lay the foil down and place the fish on top, drizzle oil, and add seasonings before wrapping the foil by bringing the edges together and then folding the top and the side ends.
This creates a perfect seal. Place the wrapped cod on the grill, close the lid, and allow it to cook for about five to 10 minutes until the filets are cooked through.
