While ketchup is great on its own, there are many ways you can improve the condiment, such as adding some sour cream to the mix for a tangy surprise.
More specifically, swap out the mayo in traditional ketchup-based fry sauce with sour cream to create a dip lighter than the mayo version but still creamy and smooth.
Sour cream adds a bright zest to homemade fry sauce, especially mixed half-and-half with ketchup. You can use this new condiment on anything from burgers to fries to chicken.
