Get Thick Pub-Style Burgers With One Cooking Technique

Pub-style burgers originated from British pubs and are traditionally a serving of 80/20 beef seasoned with just salt and pepper. The best way to cook them is to reverse sear them.
It's a great technique for burgers, as the oven raises the internal temperature of the meat without drying it out. Finish it on the frying pan to create a crust on the outside.
Remove the meat from the grill or smoker and increase the temperature to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, replace the burgers and sear both sides to get a crispy and even crust.
