French Tacos Are The Street Food That Satisfies Any Fast Food Craving

French tacos are essentially wheat tortillas stuffed with combinations of meat, cheese, and sauces. Vegetables aren’t particularly common unless you order a vegetarian version.
They often feature greasy fillings like ground beef, sausage, and chicken nuggets, accompanied by a variety of cheeses such as goat cheese, emmental, mozzarella, and cheddar.
Additionally, these savory wraps are filled with classic fast food sauces — like mayo and barbecue — and fries before being heated in a panini press-type appliance.
French tacos have become a major fast food offering in France since their emergence in the 2000s, with the O’Tacos chain leading the way with over 300 locations.
While they aren’t as easily available in the United States, restaurants like The French Way in Los Angeles and Brick’N’Cheese in Seattle offer variations of the creation.
