For Perfect Asparagus On A Gas Grill, Use A Foil Packet

Grilling asparagus in a foil packet allows you to take advantage of the efficiency of gas grills while still giving your tastebuds the essence of charcoal-smoked goodness.
Preheat your grill to 400 degrees F and cut a piece of foil big enough to completely cover the asparagus with room to spare before coating the foil with a thin layer of oil.
Trim the woody ends of your thick asparagus stalks, place them on the foil, and season them with garlic and onion powder, pink Himalayan salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Add some oil to the stalks and rub the oil and the seasonings all over them. Then, fold the pouch closed and put it on the grill for 15 to 20 minutes, flipping it over once.
Once the stalks are off the grill, add a squeeze of lemon or a sprinkle of grated Parmesan. Thanks to the foil and the smoked paprika, your asparagus will taste perfectly smoky.
