Despite Brazilian steakhouses' increasing popularity, Texas De Brazil is one chain that is often overlooked. However, it lives up to the hype with its unique flame-grilled meats.
Besides the flame-grilling technique that amps up the flavors, the underrated steakhouse chain serves high-quality meat, making it worth the admission price of $55 per person.
The menu at Texas De Brazil features all kinds of meats, from a leg of lamb to bacon-wrapped chicken, and they come in all shapes and sizes, from chunks of pork loin to beef ribs.
The steakhouse employs a cooking style called churrasco, which is a southern Brazilian tradition of slow-roasting meats over open flames. This imparts a nice smokiness to the meat.
Like most other Brazilian steakhouses, Texas de Brazil has a complimentary salad bar, complete with brightly-colored accouterments, select seafood, and tropical fruits.
