To keep a batch of cupcakes from tumbling or squishing together when transporting them from one location to another, ditch your standard dish and use a roasting pan instead.

Given that the edges of roasting pans are usually around three inches high, they can effectively keep your cupcakes safe, especially if you're driving and need to make a few turns.

To keep the cupcakes spaced a bit apart and ensure the frosting on each won't touch, crumble a bit of tin foil or parchment paper and place it in between each cupcake in the pan.

You can also cover the cupcakes to prevent them from getting exposed to air. This will keep them fresh, help the frosting remain soft, and prevent any bugs from landing on them.
