Chocolate being pumped into bar

Does Callebaut Really Make Trader Joe's Pound Plus Bars?

Rumor has it that there's a premium chocolate maker behind Trader Joe’s beloved Pound Plus chocolate bars: the famed Belgian chocolate maker, Callebaut.
The bars truly weigh a hefty pound plus and yield a buttery texture and a rich, smooth flavor. They are offered in a range of varieties from milk to dark.
Pound Plus bars say on their label that they are made "in a small town outside of Antwerp by confectionary artisans known for producing perhaps the finest chocolate in the world."
Based just outside of Antwerp is Wieze, the Belgian base where Callebaut chocolate is primarily made. However, it could still be another Belgian chocolate maker entirely.
Trader Joe's itself is notoriously tight-lipped on the topic, but the internet agrees; it's either Callebaut, or another premium Belgian chocolate option like Guittard.
