Disney Food Festivals Are Taking On Big Changes In 2024

EPCOT, the Disney park, hosts a series of immersive food festivals throughout the year. However, significant changes are on the horizon for some of their food festivals in 2024.
The 2024 International Flower and Garden Festival, one of EPCOT’s four annual food festivals, will be shorter than 2023’s event by 36 days, running from February 28 through May 27.
The abbreviated Flower and Garden dates might mean EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival could run longer or shorter. Alternatively, a new event could potentially be introduced.
Two new festival areas, CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza, are also set to open in EPCOT’s CommuniCore area in 2024. They, too, might bring some changes to the festival lineup.
With a mixology bar, meet-and-greet areas, galleries, and a demo station, the CommuniCore Hall will replace the EPCOT Experience, which previously hosted the festival events.
On the contrary, CommuniCore Plaza is an outdoor event space that will host performances both small and large, including the concert series that occurs for Disney's food festivals.
The shorter festival schedules and the added spaces only increase the park’s capacity to host more festivals. Certainly, some delicious things are blooming this spring in Orlando.
