Sardines

Sardines provide a smack of umami to dishes and offer lots of protein and omega-3 fatty acids.
They can be eaten as-is or added to salads and pasta dishes.

Oysters

Canned oysters provide a nice flavor highlight and are tasty enough to eat straight out of the can. They lend themselves to snacks, but also
shine in a po'boy sandwich.

Spam

Spam is an easy, economical way to add protein to the table during hard times. It is best prepared as something quick for breakfast and lunch and pairs nicely with eggs.

Tuna

Tuna is a mainstay in pantries worldwide, and canned tuna's claim to fame is tuna salad. For dinners, you can make a classic tuna noodle casserole or any noodle dish.

Salmon

Canned salmon can be used interchangeably with canned tuna if you want something on the fancier side. It also lends itself to a game day spread.
