  • Tony’s Seasoning (or your favorite)

Grilled wings are a necessary menu item during tailgating season (as well as year-round).

Wings are messy on any grill. The fats and juices don’t add fuel to your fire and stick around and sizzle and steam for juicier wings, not dried and burned. They make a great appetizer or main course surrounded by vegetables.

TIP: Low temp and cooking the wings slow is your best bet.


  1. 1Preparation:
    Thaw if possible, but wings can go on the grill semi-frozen. Dry with paper towel.
  2. 2Liberally sprinkle Tony’s or your favorite spice or rub. Let stand 30 minutes before grilling.
  3. 3Set gas grills to medium 350F. Charcoal grillers spread coals evenly under grill on the downside of the coals.
  4. 4Disburse wings across the grates, close lid and come back in 15 minutes to rotate and move the wings.
  5. 5Check and move every 15 minutes. Grilling time 45-60 minutes.
  6. 6Cover with your favorite sauce (hot, mild, or BBQ)
