Ingredients (3)

  • frozen juice can (o.j. tastes great).
  • 2 liter bottle of Talking Rain
  • Ice cubes

I have a nasty craving for soda…but I realize that corn syrup is more deadly than cigarettes (true. a regular soda a day will kill you…no questions asked).

I switched to cane sugar cola, but they stopped carrying my favorite brand at the supermarket.

One day I was looking at some o.j. and some talking rain…and…

For moms, you can make this natural “soda” cheaply en masse and not put the tykes on the road to Type II diabetes in middle age, plus save a lot of moola.

Instructions

  1. 1Mix the frozen juice with water and chill. Chill the talking rain.
  2. 2Fill a mason jar (I keep the sauce jars from Classico because they are invaluable) with ice. Fill half with Talking Rain, half with orange juice.
  3. 3Stir it around to chill…then drink. Add some fruit slices or some homemade iced tea.
