Greyhound Cocktail

A simple, refreshing mix of vodka and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice (add a touch of simple syrup if your grapefruits are a bit too tart). To turn it into a Salty Dog, moisten the rim of the glass and dip in salt.

• Ice cubes
• 2 ounces vodka
• 4 ounces freshly squeezed grapefruit juice (from about 2 medium grapefruits)
• 1 teaspoon simple syrup (optional)

1. 1Fill a chilled Old Fashioned glass halfway with ice cubes.
2. 2Add the vodka and grapefruit juice, stir, and taste. Too tart? Add the simple syrup, stir again, and serve.
