  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • Dash of angostura bitters
  • *Maraschino cherry"

The Rob Roy is a blend of Scotch and vermouth sharpened by a dash of angostura bitters. It’s named for Robert Roy MacGregor, Scotland’s very own Robin Hood.

Instructions

  1. 1Add the Scotch, vermouth, and bitters to a mixing glass with ice. Stir, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  2. 2Drop in the maraschino cherry and serve.
