omega 3 granola

This recipe is adapted from The Breakfast Book by Marion Cunningham. I wanted to make a breakfast cereal without sugar or cholesterol to sprinkle on my granola in the morning, homemade, of course!

Instructions

  1. 1Measure oats into a largish bowl and stir in the maple syrup and oils until well covered.
  2. 2Stir in spices, salt, nuts and flaxseeds.
  3. 3Cover a jellyroll pan with parchment paper and evenly spread the granola over it.
Bake in a 300 degree oven (preheated, please) for 30 minutes or until golden.
Stir the granola every 10 minutes while baking.
