1Measure oats into a largish bowl and stir in the maple syrup and oils until well covered.
2Stir in spices, salt, nuts and flaxseeds.
3Cover a jellyroll pan with parchment paper and evenly spread the granola over it.
Bake in a 300 degree oven (preheated, please) for 30 minutes or until golden.
Stir the granola every 10 minutes while baking.
We change up the traditional oat and nut combo with big flakes of fragrant, crispy coconut and starchy, nutty buckwheat groats. It’s amazing how little oil and sweetener you need to get beautifully browned granola.
