I created this recipe for Emeril’s Chocolate Challenge last year and it was chosen as a winner. It has all of the flavors of the well known B52 drink in one bite sized treat. Feel free to go to to view the recipe and read reviews of others that have tried it. It is quick, easy and delicious! Enjoy….

  1. 1Bring heavy whipping cream just to a boil and remove from heat.
  2. 2Whisk in semisweet chocolate until smooth. Whisk in Irish cream.
  3. 3Place in a medium sized bowl and refrigerate for about 45-50 minutes until well chilled.
  4. 4Using a stand or electric mixer beat ganache until it is thick and semifirm
  5. 5stir in a pinch of grated orange zest ( not the whole tablespoon)
  6. 6Fit a pastry bag with a large round tip ( size 9 or larger is recommended) and fill with ganache. Pipe chocolate into the cordial cups filling almost to the top.
*I advise leaving the cordial cups in the plastic container that they were purchased in for filling. This keeps them stable and prevents them from tipping or breaking.
  7. 7Place a chocolate covered espresso bean on top of each filled chocolate cup and sprinkle with a small amount of orange zest.
  8. 8Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator in a tightly covered container for up to two days.
