Quick and easy one pot meal. For gizzard lovers.
- 2 lbs gizzards
- one lb macaroni
- 2 - 3 cups frozen peas and pearl onions
- 1/2 cup green pepper
- 1 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese, cheddar, Colby,
- 4 cloves garlic and garlic powder
- 1 /2 tsp salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
1cut gizzards in half by removing connect section between the large muscle parts.
boil diced gizzards
3place peas in microwave and thaw
4finely dice green pepper
1mix gizzards, macaroni, green peppers, cheese in a large bowl with milk
and pour into baking pan of suitable size (9 1/2 × 10)
place in a preheated 350 degree oven
place more cheese on top
bake approximately 20-30 minutes until cheese browns.
let cool and serve with a salad and (if you wish) grape Kool-Aid.
